To celebrate their 15th birthday, Australian In Style magazine features some of their favourite female celebrities on their cover, and inside ask what they would tell their 15 year old selves if they had the chance.
Here’s what Isabel said:
“What would I say to my 15-year-old self? I would sit her down and remind her that it’s really okay to be yourself; in fact, it’s wonderful. We try to conform to fit someone else’s view but it’s your life—and you never know what’s around the bend.
It takes courage and vulnerability to be that true with yourself and with others.”

Damon Gameau goes Super Size on the sweet stuff in shocking sugar experiment
IT’S been 10 years since Morgan Spurlock existed on just McDonald’s for a month in the groundbreaking film, Super Size Me.
Now our waistlines face a new threat, and another guinea pig has undergone some risky self-experimentation to try to make sense of it.
Australian TV actor and filmmaker Damon Gameau stars in That Sugar Filmwhich will air in Australian cinemas in early 2015, in which he exists on “healthy” low-fat food with a high sugar content for 60 days.
The results are more shocking than anyone could have expected.
Within three weeks, the previously healthy Damon was feeling terrible all the time, lethargic and snapping at the slightest thing.
A visit to the doctor confirmed the worst — he had the beginnings of fatty liver disease.
“I had no soft drink, chocolate, ice cream or confectionery,” Damon told Sunrise this week. “All the sugars that I was eating were found in perceived healthy foods, so low-fat yoghurts and muesli bars and cereals and fruit juices, sports drinks … these kind of things that often parents would give their kids thinking they’re doing the right thing.”
Russell Crowe’s directorial debut to be released in April by Warner Bros.
Warner Bros. Pictures says it has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to actor Russell Crowe’s directorial debut — The Water Diviner — from RatPac Entertainment.
Set for release April 24, the big-screen drama stars Olga Kurylenko, Yilmaz Erdogan, Cem Yilmaz, Jai Courtney, Ryan Corr, James Fraser, Ben O’Toole and Isabel Lucas.
The announcement regarding its American release was made Friday by Greg Silverman, the studio’s president of creative development and worldwide production; Sue Kroll, president of worldwide marketing and international distribution; and Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution.
Shot primarily on location in the wilds of the Australian outback and Turkey, the film is a post-war drama which follows an Aussie man on his travels to Turkey after the Battle of Gallipoli in search of his three missing sons.
“The studio has a long history with Russell, going back to his stellar breakthrough performance in L.A. Confidential. We’re excited to be collaborating with him again, this time on his directorial debut,” Silverman said in a statement.
“Russell has proven time and again what an incredible on-screen talent he is, and it’s a thrill for us to be able to bring not only his first feature behind the camera — but such a moving story — to U.S. audiences,” added Kroll.
After having its cinema release pushed back again, Loft is now scheduled to be released (in the US?) on January 23rd 2015. Below is an another international trailer for the movie, with the description suggesting it will be released in Belgium tomorrow – October 15th…
